In 2024, a small group of sisters gathered in Cleveland to pray and seek the Lord for vision and guidance for the Church, both the universal church and our individual local assemblies. While we weren't sure entirely what to expect, it was a powerful time of meeting with the Lord and we feel He answered our prayers in many ways.
Recently, those of us who participated have felt burdened to gather again and pray for the Lord to do a work of restoration and revitalization among His people. After much prayer and consideration before the Lord, we are excited to share that we will be hosting another prayer retreat this Labor Day Weekend, September 4-7, 2026, in Flushing, Ohio, including a Zoom/remote prayer time on Saturday for those unable to attend in-person.
This event is open to any sisters who share this burden to come and retreat and seek the Lord in a diligent and focused way. Rather than offering teaching or instruction, we are setting this time aside to worship, seek, and listen to the Lord together.
Due to logistical constraints, we are unable to provide child care, but nursing infants and high schoolers (with a parent or guardian) are welcome.
In order to coordinate online prayer, we ask that all attendees register, even if they are only joining the Saturday Zoom prayer session.
This year's prayer gathering will be held at the Zion Retreat in Flushing, Ohio. Sleeping accomodations include single or shared queen-size beds and bunk beds. The location features nature trails, kayak rentals, hot tub, and other opportunities to rest and retreat with the Lord in nature during scheduled rest times, as well as laundry facilities and a full kitchen.
Meals will be provided.
Just as we trusted the Lord to tell us whether to move forward with our retreat, we trust him to provide financially. There is no fee to attend, but we ask all participants to pray over what they can do to share the burden of lodging, food, and necessities. Costs will be shared after registration closes.
Please see our Frequently Asked Questions page for more detailed information.
If you would like to attend, please let us know as soon as possible so that we can prepare to accommodate you. We have extended the registration deadline to accommodate those still looking for transportation and child care.
Registration will now close at 11:59 p.m. on August 28, 2026.
In-person attendees will receive a follow-up form addressing any personal needs, dietary restrictions, ministry volunteer opportunities, travel questions, and other logistical matters.
Remote attendees will receive follow-up emails with Zoom link information and meeting reminders for Saturday, September 5.
